Lots of love in Ramsay St
|
The Daily Telegraph May 07, 2008
If the Jane Hall and Kim Valentine love triangle with Vince Colosimo wasn't enough of a drama, another new Neighbours romance has set tongues a-wagging on Ramsay St.
He's nearly old enough to be her dad, but Brett Tucker, 35, is rather loved up with 18-year-old Eliza Taylor-Cotter, Confidential understands.
Despite the remarkable difference in age, the two are officially a couple - which they apparently made known at Hamish and Andy's pre-Logies party on Friday night.
Taylor-Cotter was a regular on Neighbours before she left the show last year, while Tucker - best known for his long-running role on McLeod's Daughters - joined the Ten soap in a regular role in 2007.

Tucker's Girl is a telly rebel
|
Adelaide Now May 06, 2008

She's practically young enough to be, ahem, Tucker's daughter. But that hasn't stopped former Neighbours starlet Eliza Taylor-Cotter from falling for Brett Tucker.
Brett, who plays Daniel on the Channel 10 soap, is best known for his role in SA-made McLeod's Daughters. He's due to turn 36 later this month.
That makes him just about twice the age of Eliza, 18, who made a name for herself as Ramsay St rebel Janae.
The two are officially an item, Confidential understands, and have been dating for some time.

Ramsay St gets Major boost
|
Talented actor Scott Major has joined the cast of Neighbours.
Major, who started on set this week(April 13th), will play Lucas Fitzgerald, the brother of the character Daniel Fitzgerald played by Brett Tucker. Major is best known for his work on the series Always Greener.
Since that show folded he has done several stage productions, had guest roles on Blue Heelers and City Homicide and lived in England for a year.
The Ramsay St surrounds will not be totally new to Major.
He had a small guest role, playing a different character, on the show 15 years ago.

2008 TV Week Logie Awards
|

The annual TV Week Logie Awards will be held tonight at the Crown Casino. Unfortunately Brett didn't receive any nominations this year.
But I will be still adding screen grabs of any appearances of Brett on the Red Carpet Arrivals and the actual Logie Awards, so keep checking back for more updates.

Injections give actor leg-up
|
28th March 2008 Herald Sun (Melbourne)
EVEN yesterday's arctic temperatures didn't stop Neighbours heart- throb Brett Tucker getting in some last-minute training before Sunday's Run for the Kids.
The keen athlete has battled injury woes in his efforts to get right for the 14km race. A few weeks ago, Tucker went through a complicated procedure that involved injecting blood from his arm into his achilles tendon.
"It sounds pretty extreme but it seems to be working," he said.
"I won't be trying to break any world records . . . but it will be great to be out there having a go."
Tucker said after living in Adelaide for years while working on McLeod's Daughters he
was enjoying being back in his home town.
"Travelling with work was great, but I had to be away for six or seven years," he said.
"Now I have got my own place in St Kilda East and I have been getting down to the Bellarine Peninsula whenever I can."
Tucker is also in training for a 30km race through Queensland's Glasshouse Mountains in May for mental health charity One in Five, which was started by friends.

Green Guide's Critical View
|
The Age (Melbourne)
Neighbours Channel Ten, 6.30pm
Libby (Kym Valentine) is avoiding Daniel (Brett Tucker). And who can blame her? After declaring her true feelings, Daniel attributes any flirting on his part to a football-induced concussion. Now, there are many ways to tactfully rebuff a misguided admirer but to really get a girl off your back, nothing beats the old "I must have been temporarily brain-damaged to have found you attractive" excuse. Meanwhile, Harold (Ian Smith) is worried that Lou (Tom Oliver) is not all right. "Are you all right?" he asks. "Of course I'm all right," Lou says. But sharp-eyed Harold detects some inconsistencies between Lou's words and his behaviour - namely, that Lou is clutching his chest and gasping for air. "You're not all right, are you?" he persists. Lou realises his game is up and reveals his woes.
